This is to give notice that Dixie County under Part 58 has conducted an evaluation as required by Executive Orders 11988 and 11990, in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management and Wetlands Protection. The activity is funded under the HUD Small Cities Community Development Block Grant program under 23DB-34. NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE
NW Hwy 358 (Old 19)
Beginning May 1, 2023 until Project Completion
The Dixie County Board of County Commissioners informs the public of the temporary road closure of NW Hwy 358 (Old 19) Beginning May 1, 2023 until project completion. Closure is for the purpose of Ditch Cleanout of sediments and debris removal. The closure will take place in 2 different phases. The 1st phase being from US Hwy 19 South to NW Hwy 357 (Hines Hwy) and the 2nd phase being from NW Hwy 357 (Hines Hwy) to US 19 North. The road will be closed to normal daily traffic, with the exception of residents having access to their homes.
State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program
Dixie County will submit the Annual Report required by the State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program for fiscal years 2017/2018, 2018/2019, and 2019/2020 by September 15, 2020. Once approved by the Board of County Commissioners copies of the reports are available for public inspection and comment at the Office of the Chairman of the Dixie County Board of Commissioners, Cross City, Florida.
